You may sometimes see an 850i/Ci/CiA disguised with a CSi sticker, M5 rear-view mirrors and CSi front and rear
spoilers. Now, the standard 850 has square exhausts while the CSi has round, so you can easily spot the real thing.
Also, the CSi does not have an automatic tranny as an option, although some cars have had this retrofitted.

There is a very ambitious site dedicated to the 8-series at Club E31 which covers pretty much all there is to know, and the site also includes a chat room for each country.

A mailing list exists for owners (only) of the exquisite BMW E31 (all the 8-series models), it is brilliantly moderated by Mr. Paul Michael Brown. If you want to join this list, mail Paul Michael Brown , introducing yourself and your E31. The list is now rather dormant due to the success of the automated billboards.

There is also a CSi registry, maintained by Steve Castle (smcastle@att.net) who wants YOU to register your CSi. Send him an e-mail and he will get back to you with details on how to register. The registry is for our mutual benefit and is of course confidential.

Please check out the MH Teknik main page to see who we are and what we do.
